Our Work
Since 2016, Raben has had the privilege of leading the NAACP through a transformative strategic planning process. Our goal was to harness past victories, tackle future challenges, and enhance the organization’s branding. This involved adopting innovative techniques and ensuring long-term sustainability.
With a membership of over 2 million, heavily reliant on volunteer leaders, inclusive engagement was paramount. Raben designed a comprehensive process, conducted interviews with national headquarters staff, state and college affiliate staff, and hosted seven Town Hall-style listening sessions nationwide.
The outcome was a holistic strategic plan that restructured internal dynamics and initiated a brand refresh, ensuring the NAACP remains a powerful force for change in the years to come.
