Before joining Raben, Jael was an associate producer at Sirius XM, where he gained production experience across multiple Sirius XM channels, from Mad Dog Sports Radio to Sirius XM POTUS. He played a key role on the production teams for Let’s Get After It with Chris Cuomo and The Dan Abrams Show, among others.
Jael is passionate about advocating for racial justice. He served as a research assistant for Sonia Jarvis, a senior consultant for President Clinton’s Initiative on Race. While working for Jarvis, he researched background materials on reparations, voter suppression, and other topics surrounding racial justice work. Jael is a former member of The City University of New York DEI Incubator, a cohort aimed at building a more inclusive CUNY system.
Jael graduated from Stony Brook University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a concentration in Public Policy. He also holds a master's of Public Administration from Baruch College’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. Jael was born in Dominica and moved to New York as a teenager, where he’s lived in Harlem ever since. Jael is a diehard soccer fan and grew up rooting for the U.S. Men’s National Team and Chelsea FC in London. When he’s not watching a game, you can catch him writing poetry and performing at a local open mic.
